Cycle Tour China: Guilin and Guangxi

Part of the joy of travelling by bike through some of the smaller, rural areas means, of course, that you are sometimes limited in your choice of accommodation – sometimes you may be staying in the only guesthouse available.

Whilst you may not have all the facilities you are accustomed to at home, these small, family-run places make up for that with their location, views, atmosphere and friendly service. Hygiene is very important, so you can expect a good level of cleanliness throughout your accommodation.

With this in mind, you will stay in a variety of accommodation styles on this trip. Eleven nights are in good-standard hotels with twin-share rooms, private bathrooms, hot water, television, air-conditioning, etc. One night is in more basic, traditional-style accommodation, with all the usual facilities available.
