With legs refreshed from yesterday's leisure day, get ready to cover significant ground! Today's route takes you through Thailand's narrowest geographic region, with the Myanmar border just 20 km away at times. Begin with a ride along Baan Grood’s peaceful, palm-lined beach road and continue through countryside lanes before transitioning to a wider road that winds through lush coastal estuaries. Around the 60 km mark, the road narrows, immersing you in a vast landscape of coconut and palm oil plantations. Pick up the pace on a dedicated bike lane alongside the main road. After about 90 km, arrive at Ao Bo Mao Bay for a well-deserved lunch at a beachside restaurant. Cross a bridge with picturesque views of fishing boats before completing the final stretch to Saphli Beach in Chumphon Province. End the day by the shore—perhaps with a fresh coconut, an ice-cold beer, or both—to celebrate an epic ride!

- Day 6Chumphon - Ranong
Today marks a significant milestone as you cross the Isthmus of Kra, the narrow strip of land separating the Gulf of Thailand to the east from the Andaman Sea to the west. While this is the longest ride of the tour, a steady pace and regular stops make it manageable. With limited roads through the mountains, much of the day is spent on the main road, which offers a wide shoulder for a comfortable ride. Starting from the Chumphon coast, cycle west for about 60 km along an undulating route that winds through jungle-clad mountains. The twists, turns, and hills make for an exciting and varied ride.
Arriving at the Kra Buri River valley, take in views of the natural border between Thailand and Myanmar as the river widens into an estuary flowing toward the Andaman Sea. Follow the valley floor to the Pun Ya Ban Waterfall, where a steep 3 km climb provides the day’s final challenge. Conclude the journey in Ranong, a city known for its spa culture, vibrant fishing industry, and proximity to the Myanmar border, offering a distinct and memorable atmosphere.- 85.7 miles
