Base yourself in Queenstown for three days of outstanding trail riding through some of New Zealand's most iconic scenery — rivers, forests, historic townships, and world-class wine country — all without the logistical headaches of a journey-style tour. Your own accommodation is yours to arrange, while everything bike-related is fully taken care of — each evening your bike will be collected, serviced, and ready to go again the next morning.
You'll begin with a scenic warm-up loop from central Queenstown, winding along the Shotover and Kawarau Rivers before tackling the thrilling Hugo Tunnel section and returning via Arthurs Point. Day two takes you to the charming historic town of Arrowtown, from where you'll follow river trails downstream along the Kawarau and Shotover before finishing with a beautiful lakeside ride into Queenstown Bay. The final day trades elevation for indulgence, riding out to the iconic Kawarau Bungy Bridge and into the celebrated Gibbston Valley wine region, where cellar doors, breweries, and cafés invite you to linger at your own pace.
The trails are wide and gravel-based, predominantly Grade 1–2 with a couple of short Grade 3 sections. As three consecutive days of riding, this tour is best suited to keen and capable riders with some prior mountain biking experience. Minimum 2 riders per booking.
