Itinerary Details

1. Day 1Arrival

   Meet with the group and tour operator in Basel, Switzerland. Settle in and have your bike fittings before kicking off the tour in the vineyards of the Rhine Valley. Cycle from a quaint Black Forest village and get ready to explore Alsace's wine region.

2. Day 2Cycle in Alsace

   Continue your French cycling exploration on your second day. Not to be missed are the superb wine tasting places along Alsace's famous Route des Vins. The sightseeing and wonder never ends as you go through the medieval villages of Riquewihr and Eguisheim.

3. Day 3Strasbourg

   The sights of dreamlike Strasbourg will unfold before your eyes on a guided walk. Along the way be enchanted by medieval architecture, historic neighborhoods with interesting half-timbered houses and it's impressive Gothic cathedral. Catch views of both France and Germany on a mellow e-bike spin through meadows and forests.

4. Day 4Wilkommen in Deutschland!

   Welcome to Germany! Hop on your e-bike where your first destination would be Heidelberg. You'll be greeted by red limestone structures with the impressive ruins of the Heidelberg Castle dominating the scenery. The famed Weinstrasse or German Wine Route is along the way and is considered to be the country's oldest wine route with many sights to see or taste! If wine is not enough then a stop for some cold beer or Radler at a local biergarten might be great for freshening up.

5. Day 5Rhine Gorge

   The spectacular World Heritage site of the Rhine Gorge offers up e-bike-ready routes that link fairy-tale towns. Two thousand years of history lie beneath the cobblestone streets of Koblenz, set where the Rhine and Moselle Rivers converge.

6. Day 6Bonn

   Sail to Bonn, the former capital of West Germany and the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven. In cosmopolitan Cologne, check out a local Brauhaus (brewery), shop for a taste of the famous local chocolates or catch a glimpse of the city’s massive cathedral.

7. Day 7Amsterdam

   It’s a grand finale for both waterways and wheels! Arrive in Amsterdam to marvel at its arched bridges, crooked canal houses and sea of bike commuters. Take your e-bike on a last spin through the serene Dutch countryside and enjoy a traditional boat cruise which gives us a canal’s-eye view of the city's intricate maze of channels.
