  1. Day 1Alba

    Arrival via your own means of transport, welcome from the staff. Presentation of the trip, assembly and preparation of bikes. Welcome drink and dinner with the rest of the group.

  2. Day 2The Wine Road Loop

    Your Piedmont bike tour begins. After an energy-filled organic breakfast, you will start to pedal south. Today you will ride through an incredible landscape of rolling hills surrounded by vineyards, visiting typical old villages; you are in the Barolo wine production area. This is a perfect cycling holiday spot, a continuous up and down ride to start your amazing bike experience.

    You will stop in at some of the famous characteristic villages to have a delicious “cappuccino and cornetto”. Cerreto Langhe, Monforte d’Alba, Barolo, Diano d’Alba are some of the enchanting little towns through which you will cycle on peaceful back roads. A delicious dinner along with a local organic wine tasting closes this first day.

  3. Day 3The Beautiful Langhe

    Your bike tour today takes you to the southeast Langhe area. Departing from Alba you will head to the first town of the day: Canelli.
    This area, home to the Asti Spumante white wine, was appointed a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014. Keep on riding to reach other interesting, important old towns: San Stefano Belbo, Bubbio, Benevello and many more. You will enjoy an unforgettable cycling day, far from the traffic and deep in a fairytale atmosphere. You can’t miss a daily “espresso and cappuccino” in some of the old village squares. This evening you will deserve to drink! A refreshing “Spritz” is given as an appetizer, just before a rewarding and delicious dinner.

  4. Day 4Heading to the Sea

    Today you will have to pack because the cycling road towards the Ligurian Sea is waiting for you. The bike tour today takes you into a different landscape; slowly you will pass from the vineyard countryside into wild hills. This area divides the Piedmont Region from the Liguria Region. You will ride through rolling hills, dealing with some demanding but short ascents followed by enjoyable descents.
    The road between Murazzano and Montezemolo, a road that runs along a hill ridge with a breathtaking view on both sides, is really beautiful. Millesimo, a village in the High Bormida Valley in the Regional Park of Bric Tana, is your goal today. This evening you will have a traditional local dinner, with an opportunity to try new flavours and taste a new kind of wine.

  5. Day 5From the Mountains to the Sea

    Today the tour takes you into a mountainous area; pedalling through some little pretty mountain villages, you will get to Calizzano. Here the ascent starts, it is 9 km (5.5 mi) long with a difference in altitude of 400 m (1312 ft) and an average slope of 5%. This easy ascent takes place in a beautiful beech wood that ensures a bit of cool during the heat of the day.  You are riding in an Alpine atmosphere, in the Sea Alps area. The Pass is 1027 m (3369 ft) above sea level; here you can admire some old barracks and a fortress built in 1883. Finally, you will see the Ligurian sea, but first, you will have to deal with a technical but thrilling descent. This descent is 18km (11.1mi) long and takes you from the pass to the beach. As a reward for your effort, a cool “Spritz” is waiting for you on the beach.

  6. Day 6The Ligurian Sea Loop

    Another completely different cycling day. Liguria is really famous for its extraordinary sea and beaches but is also well-known for its immaculate backcountry full of flower crops, one of the most important products of this area. You will leave your accommodation after an energy-charged breakfast and start to climb up towards one of the countless tiny villages overlooking the sea. With the mountains on one side and the sea on the other, you will reach some beautiful natural terraces with breathtaking sea views, and after a descent, you can ride your last kilometers on the Milano-Sanremo road alongside the coast. Your last dinner, in an exclusive terrace on the sea, closes this unique bike tour from Piedmont to the Sea.
