  • Where does the tour start and end?

    The tour begins in small West Coast community of Punakaiki which lies betwwen Westport and Greymouth. Christchurch International Aiport (CHC) is the closest airport where you can take the TranzAlpine train to Greymouth. The Tour Operator will meet you at the train station and transfer to the hotel.

    The tour actually ends further south, in Queenstown but you are welcome to travel back with the tour operator on the last day, back to Christchurch. Queenstown also has an international airport (ZQN) so if you decide to stay on there you can easily depart later.
