  2. Day 2UNESCO World Heritage Castle Drottningholm

    Cycle along Lake Mälaren, Sweden's third largest lake, to the island of Lovön, where the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Drottningholm Palace awaits you. Take your time to admire the charming building with its beautiful lakeside location and visit the exotic, small "China Castle", the castle theatre and the wonderful castle park. Cycle over bridges and along the water to Södermalm. The former working-class neighborhood is now inhabited by hipsters and designers. On this stage, you will also pass the old town of Gamla Stan with its cobbled alleyways, crooked houses and inviting cafés.

  3. Day 3Stockholm - Gothenburg by Train

    By train and with your luggage you travel to Gothenburg after breakfast. In the afternoon there is enough time for sightseeing in the city. Discover Sweden's second largest city on a boat tour from the water, visit the harbor with its walk-in historic ships, the Maritiman adventure museum is also worth a visit. Savor a cinnamon bun in the popular district of Hage and stroll along the boulevard Kungsportsavenyn. Garden lovers can visit the Trädgårdsföreningen park and art lovers the Gothenburg Art Museum.

  4. Day 4Gothenburg - Kungsbacka

    While cycling out of town you pass Särö, the former playground of the ancient royal family and Gothenburg high society. Cliffs, lush forests, bays and marinas line your path. In the late afternoon you reach Kungsbacka, a cozy small town with an impressive old city.

  5. Day 5Kungsbacka - Varberg

    Enjoy the breathtaking views on today’s route along horse farms and fields. Once you reach Åsa the sea is accompanying you again and leading you to Varberg. Visit the fortress with its Bockstensmann, a medieval man’s body found from the 14th century (not included).

  6. Day 6Varberg - Falkenberg - Helsingborg

    Look forward to picturesque fishing villages and handicrafts. In Träslövsläge you can feast on freshly cooked lobsters and stroll through the older parts of the city. You continue to Falkenberg, one of the oldest cities in the area. Afterwards, you go by train (not included) to Helsingborg (within 90 minutes) where you stay overnight.

    After breakfast, the ferry (not included) brings you in just 20 minutes to Helsingør which means you have reached Danish territory.
