Upon arriving in Newcastle, a city renowned for its excellent transport links, you'll enjoy your first evening in its lively atmosphere. The following day, you'll trace the River Tyne to Tynemouth on the coast, then embark on the breathtaking Coast and Castles route, leading you along Northumberland's stunning coastline. This route showcases the region's long sandy beaches and iconic castles like Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh.

Before continuing, you'll check the tide times, essential for your next stop at Holy Island, also known as Lindisfarne, before proceeding to Berwick-upon-Tweed at the Scottish border. Your journey then leads inland through the majestic Tweed Valley to Melrose, famous for its gothic abbey. From Melrose, you'll head to Innerleithen, with the final stretch offering a fantastic cycling experience through the Moorfoot Hills, culminating in a triumphant arrival in Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city.

Upon reaching Edinburgh, you'll be greeted by a representative who will assist you in either beginning your return journey by train or arranging a transfer back to Newcastle. This self-guided adventure is designed for a minimum of two participants and includes accommodation, transfers (where needed), luggage handling, and emergency support.
