Conquer Kvarner Bay with peak thrills and sea views! Spend a week on a charming motor sailor and travel to the islands of Cres, Molat, Dugi Otok, Pag, Rab and Krk. Your guide will accompany you to the hidden corners of the region. The hilly to mountainous landscape with partly challenging slopes requires a good physical condition/fitness. The islands vary greatly and therefore offer a large variety while biking: wide natural paths, small side roads, Roman roads, seafront promenades and narrow paths will lead you across the islands. This MTB and boat tour is aimed at off-road fans who enjoy a tour outdoors in nature in varying terrain.

Itinerary Details

  1. Day 1Omišalj (Embarkation) to Rabac

Arrive individually in Omišalj on the island of Krk and board the boat between 1:00 and 1:30 pm. At 2:00 pm, you’ll set sail on your first cruise to Rabac on the Istrian Peninsula. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and lined with inviting seaside cafés, Rabac is the perfect place to begin your adventure.

Here, you’ll enjoy a short introductory ride to get your bike set up for the week at the local Bike Skills Park — Croatia’s very first purpose-built bike park. Test your bike, warm up your riding skills, and settle into the rhythm of the tour before spending the night in Rabac.

  2. Day 2Rabac to the Island of Cres

Today’s ride begins with a transfer to Labin, a hilltop village perched 300 m above sea level. From here, you’ll descend back toward the sea along a mix of asphalt roads, forest tracks, and flowing trails. A more technical coastal trail rewards you with fleeting views over Rabac and the sparkling Adriatic.

Back at the boat, cruise onward to the island of Cres and its charming main town of the same name. With its quaint harbor and elegant Italian architecture, Cres offers a relaxed atmosphere for your evening ashore.

Your day begins with an asphalt climb before the route turns onto gravel roads overlooking the beautiful bay of Valun. Gradually making your way inland, you’ll reach the clifftop village of Podol, where a well-earned break awaits.

From there, continue along natural paths and goat trails with smooth, flowing sections past Vrana Lake toward Lubenice. The final trail down to the harbor of Martinšćica includes more technical sections before you reunite with the boat.

Cruise onward to Mali Lošinj, a laid-back harbor town where you can unwind at one of the many cafés or bars along the promenade before another restful night on board.

  4. Day 4Islands of Lošinj and Ilovik

The island of Lošinj feels made for mountain biking. Choose between a scenic coastal ride through fragrant pine forests and picturesque bays, or tackle a more technical route leading to the harbor town of Veli Lošinj.

Once the island’s main town, Veli Lošinj later gave way to Mali Lošinj as boats grew larger and the harbor became too small.

In the afternoon, cruise to the peaceful island of Ilovik, where you can spend the rest of the day swimming, wandering the island on foot, or simply relaxing by the sea.

For riders seeking more technical terrain, Rab also offers rocky and challenging trail sections. With its wide variety of routes, the island caters to every riding style.

In the evening, explore the enchanting old town of Rab, famous for its four bell towers and regarded as one of the Adriatic’s most picturesque coastal towns.

Continue along coastal single trails past hidden coves and quiet bays before climbing through forested terrain toward Punat. The descent features rocky sections that add a fun technical challenge to the day.

Spend the evening wandering through Krk’s charming alleyways with your guide or relaxing by the waterfront.

From here, a varied route leads to Soline, where you’ll have the opportunity for a refreshing swim. Continue cycling along a narrow coastal trail back to the ship in Omišalj.
