Grand Canyon Biking - 4 Days

Duration
4 days
From
$1,191 USD

While nearly all of North America reels under hot summertime temperatures, the North Rim, at 9000-feet, offers delightfully cool, high altitudes escape. A raw-cut jewel in the national park system if not one of the most awe-inspiring features on Earth, the Grand Canyon’s incomparable majesty sunders nearly 280-miles of Northern Arizona highlands. No less than two-billion years of the earth’s history is on display here in the vermillion cliff-faces and golden canyon walls that rise a mile into the sky. From his dory that plied the unbridled Colorado River, early explorer Major John Wesley Powell compared it to “leaves in a great history book.”

You’ll have the opportunity to acclimate and test the bikes with some sharp climbs and fast descents.

Your final ascent up Mission Impossible delivers you to the secluded East Rim of the Grand Canyon, where your campsite is located. You’ll meet the van halfway through the ride for a snack break and an opportunity to catch a ride to camp if you need it.
