An extraordinary self-guided road cycling journey from the shores of Lake Geneva to the iconic alpine resort of Alpe d’Huez. This is a true bucket-list ride for road cyclists, tracing legendary Tour de France cols through the heart of the French Alps.
Your adventure begins in the lakeside villages of Anthy or Yvoire, where you’ll settle in, unwind, and enjoy a relaxed dinner by Lake Geneva. From there, the days unfold with a succession of varied mountain routes and classic passes that will test your legs and reward you in equal measure. Expect sweeping alpine views, exhilarating descents, and the simple pleasures of the region—tasting Reblochon cheese (the locals’ “power bar”), staying in charming mountain accommodations, and indulging in rich, local cuisine.
Along the way, you’ll earn serious bragging rights as you conquer some of cycling’s most storied climbs: the Colombière, Aravis, Saisies, Madeleine, Télégraphe, and the legendary Galibier—before finishing in Alpe d’Huez.
This tour is self-guided and requires a minimum of four riders.
