A glorious 5 days – very easy cycling by pastures, vineyards, through forest (mostly on the rail trail or country roads with little traffic), great farm to table meals (Merlot in Milawa and Simone’s in Bright were outstanding), comfortable and friendly accommodations (all of them deserve 5 stars), wonderful wine and wineries (organic Pennyweight was our favorite) and pleasant farm gates (EV organic olive vineyard especially).
We did the Beechworth to Bright Grand Gourmet Tour as a self guided group of 6. A couple of the 'non cyclists ' hired electric bikes but the terrain was pretty flat anyway so was all very relaxing. Loved the scenery, the food, the wine ... well everything really! And…
