    You can reach Schärding by train, with regular connections available via ÖBB. If you're flying in, the following airports offer convenient onward connections:

    - Linz Airport (LNZ): Approximately 1.5 hours by train from Linz to Schärding. (ÖBB) 
    - Munich Airport (MUC): Approximately 4 hours by train, with two changes in Regensburg and Passau. (Deutsche Bahn)
    - Vienna Airport (VIE): Approximately 3 hours by train, with one change in Linz. (ÖBB)

    A return transfer via minibus from Linz to Passau or Schärding is available with an additional fee and requires reservation. There are daily departures in the afternoon.

    The tour is classified as easy.

    You cycle mostly on a well-maintained cycle path without motorised vehicles. Only very short segments are on side roads. The cycling stages are between 15 and 40 km long and the topography is mainly flat or slightly downhill.

    It is recommended that children have a good basic level of fitness and good cycling skills (including safety in traffic).

  • Will I receive travel documents?

    Yes, this tour includes digital travel documents containing a navigation app, GPS data, and a route book. Additionally, a printed route book can be ordered as an optional extra for EUR 20 per room. Your travel documents including the service hotline contact number will be provided at the hotel.

  • What will happen to my luggage?

    Luggage transfer is included in this tour. Your luggage is made ready at your accommodation in the morning and delivered to the next hotel during the day, so you can cycle with just a daypack. Please use easy-to-handle luggage and note that luggage cannot exceed 20 kg in weight. Luggage with "cupboards with a handle" is not recommended. Specific details about deposit and retrieval times for luggage are provided in your travel documentation upon booking.

    The Tour Operator is not liable for damage to luggage exceeding 20 kg, objects not typically carried in luggage, payment means, or damage to handles or rollers.

The stages were easy to do and the children had a lot of fun cycling. The app with the travel documents helped us at every stage, and transporting luggage was completely uncomplicated, we didn't have to worry about anything. Really great to relax and enjoy time with the kids. 5 stars!
