It was so fantastic, Liam and Rachel were amazing. Food was tops, their enthusiasm was contagious, it could not have been better. This was our vacation of a lifetime, thanks for the memories!
Terrific guides, flexible, helpful, hardworking + funny. Beautiful countryside every day.

If you like cycling, a bit of hiking, dramatic landscapes and exceptional organization that feels effortless... this is the 5 day trip for you. From the moment guide Sean collected our group in Queenstown, we knew we were in safe hands. Capable, relaxed, kind, informative and personable, Sean haps to make what is an epic itinerary truly outstanding. Plus he can back a trailer like nobody's business. Every day was magical, from the 40 or so km loop cycle on the first day from the lower Shotover Bridge to Arrowtown (or Gibbston) and back, to the Kingston to Five Rivers leg to the ride that saw us arrive at Walter Peak Station. And every 10km or so, when the trail allowed, there'd be Sean calmly waiting just to ensure we were safe, fed, watered, not lost. It's all the best things of being a child, but as an adult. The night on Milford Sound aboard the Wanderer was also a delight, making this an utterly fabulous tour. Thank you.

All aspects were well organized, we really felt that our holiday experience was what mattered most. Lots of different aspects to enjoy - cycling, tramping, mini-cruise, sheep station. Great laughs with the rest of the group.
A truly lovely trip. Amazing scenery, Iain was a fantastic tour leader and Wayne lovely too. Cannot rate them high enough, already trying to book to come back!
Excellent! Sean and Chris were amazing. Both had exceptional knowledge and good partnership with balance of strengths. Sean, the joker and highly organized, and Chris with his depth of knowledge of plant and animal life which added a lot of knowledge, appreciation and curiosity on the trip.
Interesting mixture of different activities-could be a little more kayaking. The highlight was the kayaking incl. the guidance and explanations on the flora of the island we explored. Be careful about the hikes-wear hiking shoes.

We absolutely loved our trip and would have no hesitation in going with [the operator] again. Extremely impressed with the organization of the trip, it was just so easy. When you consider everything that is included the trip is great value for money. Our two guides were amazing and never got tired of all our questions and requests. We would have preferred a little more cycling. But otherwise we enjoyed this trip immensely. Thank you to all at [the operator]. The weather certainly helped. Riding the Milford Road in glorious sunshine was just magnificent. Spending the night on Milford sound was magical. Spending the last day riding through the Von Valley with our new pals and awesome guides was truly special, including the wonderful smorgasbord picnic lunch prepared by Sean, which we enjoyed in a tranquil meadow next to the stream.
Great trip again. Excellent guide and fun people in our group. Planning another trip next year with one of the fellow travelers.

From my initial website enquiry and dealings with the sales team, including the wonderful advice to consider an e-bike right up until the end of the tour - I was very impressed. The tour itself was well planned - and our guides - Chris and Sean - were wonderful. They were helpful and their assistance and care for the group was above and beyond what I would have expected. The tour was modified to cope with our individual group. The kayaking was fun and the operator also very knowledgeable and helpful. Lunches and snacks were great, and restaurant meals seamless. The days were packed tightly with activity - and our 5 days seemed like we got 10 days worth of things included! A very happy customer! If you are uncertain about your capabilities - give it a go! If you are unsure if you can cycle that far or up the hills - try an e-bike. The physical preparation recommended is also very beneficial.
The guides were amazing! Both guides were knowledgeable about the area and were terrific at sharing their knowledge during the hikes and drive time. The guides made sure meals were quickly served when we arrived at the restaurant and always ensured each tour members food needs were met! I can't…

Bring lots of Bushman insect gel - the sandflies are plentiful.
Brilliant guides, brilliant variety of activities, brilliant locations, all taking place in the most brilliant scenery. What more can you ask for - it was brilliant!

We had such an amazing experience and will be checking out what other adventures you have in store for us. Heather and Fiona were brilliant, they worked so well as a team, always smiling, encouraging and positive, and carefully planned each day depending on the conditions. Despite the wild weather, we didn’t miss out on anything, and they even squeezed in some extra activities. The wine tasting at the end of the first day was a very welcome treat after riding in the wind and rain. We saw the best of the South Island in a short time and the Milford Sound experience gave us some down time; we were ready and keen to get back on our bikes after this mid trip break. By the end of the trip we had made firm friendships with the rest of the group and the leaders. How could we not, after helping each other wade through river crossings, lifting bikes over fences (we hadn’t worked out that we could open them!) encouraging each other to keep going on wet and windy cycle rides - and many shared meals recounting our adventures. We’ve been on group cycling trips in Europe and Asia over the past few years, and this trip was definitely the best supported, and was clearly planned to be ‘environmentally friendly’ too.
Fabulous trip. Well planned, with contingency plans for the wild weather we experienced. Our tour leaders, Heather and Fiona were amazing. Always positive, supporting and fun to get around. Thanks
A taste of everything! Walking in National Parks, kayaking on the lake, biking through high country stations and a night on a boat. An awesome trip - fantastic scenery in an awesome part of the country. Loved it!

Meals and accommodation as well as outdoor coffee stops all the best. Bikes and transportation could not be faulted.
[The operator] went over and beyond expectations in unpredictable Covid times to adapt and make sure the trip happened.
This is my second trip with [the operator] and there would be no reason at all to choose any other company as they could not be faulted.
We really enjoyed our trip, especially getting to do the alternative overnight boat trip on Doubtful Sound, which we would actually recommend. We did miss out on the extra hike to Key summit but the weather had turned to rain by then anyway. Fiona our guide was great and we…

Good combination of mixed activities.
Great trip. Good variety of activities. Comfortable accommodation. Included meals of good quality. Transport reasonably new. Good guide with a sense of humor
Well planned. Great food, accommodation, company, guide. Very enjoyable. Lived up to expectations and then some.
This was an amazing trip, the activities were varied and fun, the guides supportive and knowledgeable. The landscapes were awe inspiring. The lodgings and food were top notch and they accommodated my requests graciously.
great guides who were able to anticipate needs and keep us encouraged and inspired. We were able to see amazing parts of NZ that we wouldn't have if we did it on our own. Thank you, [...]
Manual bike did not have quite enough gears to ride some of the terrain. Loved the variation of stays and our guides were so friendly and helpful making the whole experience a memorable trip!
Our guides Niki and Jude were outstanding and this trip was spectacular. Loved all the areas we traveled through and so special being able to kayak, bike and hike in one trip!
This was an excellent experience to sample several different places in the Milford Sound and Fiordland National Park area. Our two guides, Chris and Lewis, were superb, and greatly enriched the entire experience. We would do the trip again in a heartbeat. Thank you!
The trip was amazing to say the least! The itinerary was full of a variety of activities and the guides - Chris and Lewis - were awesome; they were very knowledgeable about the places we were visiting and worked tirelessly to give us the best time.
Average. Milford sound part is worth it but half of the MTB was just ordinary... Parallel to state highway, nothing amazing. Kayak was more talking than exploring. I got the sense that there was a lot of filler. Activity timing was well off and one day we couldn't even do…
Average. Milford sound part is worth it but half of the MTB was just ordinary... Parallel to state highway, nothing amazing. Kayak was more talking than exploring. I got the sense that there was a lot of filler. Activity timing was well off and one day we couldn't even do one of the main walks and another day lunch had stopped serving hot food due to the time. Note that this was not a slow group either. One of the breakfast places served very small portions prior to a 50km ride.
One of the guides was amazing but I was disappointed in the other as she seemed to flounder and forget things easily.
After starting off with a small glitch, the trip got better every day and the guides (Chris and Louis) were superb.
I cannot rate this trip highly enough! Of course it IS New Zealand, but even so! The well-planned itineraries, the incredible guides who took such good care of us with such lovely attitudes, and my lovely adventurous tour companions - five beautiful and memorable days in my life! Thank you…

Now I understand why all the reviews I read said 'Just do it"! The Milford & Fiordland Hike + Bike + Kayak truly exceeded all my expectations. I was a bit nervous as this was my first adventure-type holiday but I could not have picked a better trip to start with as the mixture of activities was ideal. Any apprehension I was feeling melted away as soon as I met our group of 10 lovely like-minded travelers. We were also accompanied by our two amazing guides, Rob and Sam, whose experience and specialized knowledge greatly enhanced our daily activities. The itinerary was great and the cycling was such an awesome way to spend time in such a beautiful part of the world. I was in two minds about whether to get an e-bike, but doing so definitely added to the overall enjoyment and also allowed me to be able to stop and take oodles of photos without dropping back too far! One of the ladies said this was her third trip with [the operator] and I would not hesitate to do another one (or more) with this company. All the accommodation we stayed at was wonderful. Oh and the food!!! I was not expecting to be so well-catered for, with the meals that were provided. An added bonus! I will be highly recommending this trip to anyone.
What an epic trip! We loved the combination of hiking, cycling and kayaking and our guides (Rob and Sam) were amazing. It's an awesome way to see the country and we have memories that will last a lifetime.
What a great adventure! Hiking, biking and kayaking! Good quality bike helmets, accessories.. especially loved the E-bikes. It rained a lot on days we hiked unfortunately but what are you going do about mother nature? All in all I would recommend this trip. It was Amazing!
Great tour with the mix of cycling, hiking and kayaking. Guides were great and our group bonded well from Day 1. A night on the boat on Milford Sound was great.

This tour had it all with kayaking on Milford Sound, two fantastic hikes and 3 solid days of riding. Our group was only 4 so thank you for not cancelling. Rudy was a dedicated guide, very knowledgeable passing on his vast experience working in the National Parks. The accommodation was very comfortable and the meals (salmon) at the Distinction is Te Anau were superb. Only a few steep hills to negotiate over the 150km of riding so I used a Standard bike. Karen had the E-bike and it will get anyone up and over the hills with ease.
Time Framing was a little off on day 1 eg. never kayaked the first morning; break down in communication, meant the weather conditions were not suitable by the time we found out it had been canceled.
Really pleased we got to do a litttle from the Boat.
Thank you [operator]…

Thank you [operator] for letting us see the glow worm caves. I had seen them but my fellow companions had not. Awesome engineering. The weather conditions were great. Saw some Beautiful country.
Rudy our Guide has a ton of knowledge about all things outdoor.
Meals were great. Accommodation was very good too. My only criticism with the TeAnau accommodation is extremely poor wifi ; Too big ; too many people.
The Milford & Fiordland Hike, Bike & Kayak trip proved to be a solid choice, with fantastic scenery, a good mix of different activities, great assistance from Rudy (our guide), as well as positive weather conditions. It was certainly a positive experience.
Spectacular scenery, oh so fun activities, plenty of cycling, hiking on amazing tracks, The Milford Sound boat cruise was just so great. Waterfalls, seals dolphins. Each day brought us beautiful scenery, no matter where we turned our heads. The views while kayaking on the Lake Wakatipu were stunning while being all alone on the lake was unforgettable. We are looking forward to our next trip with [the operator] in a few days!
Yet another well-crafted week of canoe, tramping and biking. The versatility of guides, Sue and Annie, to juggle the itinerary, to maximise weather, the accommodation, meals and humor and the spectacular sights of Otago and Fiordland.
The amazing expanse of land and views at the back of the Remarkables.

The highlight being the boat trip across Lake Manapouri; the bus trip across Wilmot Pass then the fantastic overnight stay on the Navigator on Doubtful Sound. A trip of a lifetime so well managed by our exceptional guides Sue and Annie who went to a lot of trouble to rearrange the timetable to fit in with changeable weather at times. All the accommodation was of a high standard as were the meals that we had at various venues. This is our 3rd trip with Sue and Annie and all our group rate them both very highly; well organized; friendly; personable and attentive to detail.
Great experience. Well balanced activities. Excellent guide.

Her infectious enthusiasm, wealth of knowledge and love about Southern New Zealand’s Fiordland made each day a fun and captivating experience.
Fiona tailored the itinerary to our group's interests and energy levels which was impressive with so many details to consider. We enjoyed a wonderful mix of bike rides, hikes and kayaking excursions, all set against the backdrop of some of the most stunning scenery we've ever seen. Spending one night on the Milford Mariner buoyed in Milford Sound was truly magical and ending the trip with our TSS Earnslaw cruise choice! (NZ word for fantastic)
The nightly accommodations were comfortable and the meals were delicious, showcasing the best of New Zealand's local cuisine (working on getting a couple of recipes). The organization of the trip was impeccable, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for the five of us. We can't thank Fiona and [the operator] enough for creating such a memorable adventure. We highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable experience in New Zealand. We hope to be back!
This will be probably the best adventure in my life. I decided to start my bucket list and I am happy that the number one spot is taken.
Perfect balance of activities and adventure. Excellent guides and a terrific group of fellow travelers
An amazing experience with incredible scenery and fabulous weather to top it off. Great guides - enthusiastic and very helpful.
We had a lovely team of 14 who all got on and made for such a special trip and great memories.
Milford, hike, bike and kayak trip - A great experience overall with a variety of activities. I found the hike more challenging than expected but enjoyed the scenery.
We enjoyed our trip with [the operator], the guides Chris, Abe and Elaine were very friendly and accommodating, Chris was especially very helpful and knowledgeable about Queenstown and Milford Sound.
Superb tour in all ways and great variety of activities.
We experienced a wonderful trip through the beautiful Milford Sound and Queenstown areas with our excellent guides Sean and Leah. Everything was very well organized, with plenty of variety in the activities undertaken, and support along the way.
It was that good, I wish the trip was longer
Guides Howy and Catherine were caring, professional, knowledgeable, and always helpful.
Excellent guides! Very helpful and accommodating. Great activities. Biking followed by long hike was a bit exhausting, but beautiful scenery. Good choices of food overall. Really nice adventure!
Excellent guides. Everything was well planned and carried out . Highly recommended.
Both guides were fantastic. Great variety of hikes and biking. The Non eBikes were very basic and uncomfortable to ride which was a shame given the amount of riding and cost of tour. eBikes were all new.
Great guides. Ian and Collie were superb. Very friendly and Handled everything professionally and without fuss. Great variety to the activities.
Wonderful trip great choice of activities and excellent guides
Well organized, guides were knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive, greatly appreciated they showed us the beauty of NZ. Wonderful trip.
We had an excellent guide (Lewis), ideal itinerary, great food and transportation.
Amazing bike tour, kayaking and hike of Milford Sound/ Fiordland and the West Coast: Arrowtown, Kepler Track, so beautiful and exceptional experienced guides, thank you, thank you, thank you. A magic time for my preteen and myself!
