Enjoy a relaxed, self-guided e-bike adventure through the Adelaide Hills, combining scenic forest trails, quiet country roads and a carefully selected winery stop. It’s the perfect experience for riders who want to pair beautiful riding with great local wine — without the schedule or pace of a guided tour.
Starting from the Belair base, you’ll follow preloaded GPS routes through national parks, rolling hills and picturesque countryside. Ride at your own pace, stop whenever you like and take your time enjoying the scenery along the way. The routes are beginner-friendly, with options tailored to suit your confidence and fitness level. The routes are flexible and you'll be assisted in selecting which one suits your experience, fitness and interests. Depending on the option you select, your self-guided ride may include:
- Riding through Belair National Park with a choice between an easier scenic loop for wildlife spotting or a more adventurous trail option
- A winery stop at Deviation Road or Tapanappa, which includes a guided tasting and light cheese platter (additional food available if desired)
- Routes through Mark Oliphant Conservation Park, Cleland Conservation Park and Mount Lofty
This is a laid-back e-bike ride lasting approximately 6 hours and designed for enjoyment rather than distance — expect fresh air, beautiful views, easy riding and a leisurely lunch at one of the Adelaide Hills’ charming wineries.
