Plan for the day

This popular self-guided tour takes you on a relaxed e-bike adventure through the Adelaide Hills, combining forest trails, quiet back roads, national parks and a memorable winery experience.

With a flexible start time, typically in the late morning, you’ll begin from the tour operator's "goat shed" in Belair National Park. After a coffee and quick test ride, you’ll set off on preloaded GPS routes designed to suit your experience, fitness and interests. Begin with a warm-up ride through Belair National Park, choosing between an easier scenic loop or a more adventurous trail, before heading into the Hills via Upper Sturt.

From here, choose your own adventure. Take on a longer ride towards Mount Lofty and the beautiful Piccadilly Valley, or cruise through Mark Oliphant Conservation Park and the surrounding countryside. Whichever route you choose, you’ll enjoy a wine tasting and leisurely lunch at one of the Adelaide Hills’ favorite wineries, such as Deviation Road or Tapanappa.

Return to Belair via a different route, following a mix of quiet country roads, dirt tracks and scenic off-road trails before a final descent through the national park. Covering approximately 30–50 km, the day is designed for enjoyment rather than mileage, giving you the freedom to ride at your own pace and stop whenever you like.

Allow 4–7 hours, including lunch, depending on your chosen route and how long you spend enjoying each stop. If you’re feeling adventurous and have the time and energy, you can even add a second winery stop along the way!
