Itinerary Details

Ride The Trail and Bike The Wineries

Make your way to the centrally located Queenstown shop where the tour departs. Check in time is 10 minutes prior to departure time.

After checking in, sit back and enjoy the drive through the beautiful countryside as you are picked up in central Queenstown and driven to Arrow Junction.

Start your ride towards the Kawarau Suspension Bridge, where the world's first bungee jump took place.

Afterwards, you can spend the afternoon leisurely biking along the Gibbston River Trail. Use the winery map to visit several cellar doors linked along this easy-riding trail. You can enjoy a picnic en route or have lunch at one of the wineries. The distance to the first winery is 15 km, and it's 25 km to the end of the wine valley.

You'll be picked up  at 4:30 pm from your chosen winery for a shuttle back to Queenstown.

  • Ride 15km along the stunning bike trail to the first winery: 1-2 hours
  • Explore Gibbston Valley: 3-5.5 hours (depending on your pace and and how you spend exploring)
  • Shuttle transport from your chosen venue to Queenstown (30-45 minutes)
